Not a bad first effort J.D.
I think it'd be better if you filmed the process start
to finish and edited it to the salient points. I'm
thinking a cameraman, if you didn't have one that is,
who knows what you're going to do next. In general you
got good angles and framing on the work in progress,
only occasionally was the action outside the frame.
The lighting was pretty good, it can be darned hard to
have enough light on the subject to see what's going on
without washing out the color of the steel you hit the
balance darned well.
I'm thinking maybe tape a few of these in the making
and edit the best parts together into a finished
product.
All in all I think you did well.
