[TheForge] welder question

How much of that time was actually welding and how much was idling. Possibly a compression check would tell you the wear on the engine. Also I shop my equipment by looking at the people. If their truck looks rough, I wonder how much care was given to the other stuff<G>.

I'll admit I know nothing about these motors or welders.
So I thought I'd create a comparison:
If you assume that the motor powered a motor vehicle travelling at 60mph
for 6,000 hrs, that vehicle would have travelled 360,000 miles in that
time. Sounds like it's "well worn" to me.
