Apparently not. I have the DW871

3800rpm and that blade is for the DW872
http://www.dewalt.co.uk/powertools/productdetails/catno/DW872/ which runs at
1300rpm.

Can you not just use solid metal-cutting blades like this? In the saw  
you have?

But honestly, for a difference of about $100 USD per blade. I think  
I'll live with the dust and general nastiness.
