[TheForge] Evolution Rage

I'm fed up with the dust and general nastiness of my abrasive wheel chopsaw,
and I have run out of blades.
 
I have been looking at one of these:

Won't take up much room, should make less dust, cleaner cuts and I can
always break out the 9" grinder if I need to cut bigger stuff.
 
Has anyone used one?
 
There's no mention of cutting solid bar. I think my normal max size is about
3/4". Will it cope with that?
 
Any other opinions gratefully received.
