I did that many years back and it was the best vacation I ever gave myself.
Great food, super accommodations, fantastic forging and wonderful people --
plus perfect weather. AND...it is dirt cheap. Do yourselves a favor: check
out the John Campbell School (www.folkschool.org) and go for a week.
Awesome.
I'm a hobby smith also, but the b-smith shop is pro-ready.
