Aww Robert; That's disheartening.
If only the doctors would let us forge up our own titanium replacements. 
I've asked several times now when i broke something, and always get 
turned down.
We are making significant , er, breakthroughs in bone formation biology 
and more of the mechanisms are being revealed..cross fingers they solve 
it soon...good luck....pf
