Well, surgery number five for Jer is over with. FIVE. Geez, I sure
hope it's the last. The surgeon is guardedly pleased with the results
and optimistic – they were able to "drill" a core of bone from Jer's
hip rather than the slice-open surgery they had originally discussed
for the bone graft, which should heal up much more quickly and with
less discomfort for Jer.
