This follow up is getting on the verge of OT, and I'm not picking on Ron.

The problem these days is that it can actually be crime to transport
freshly cut wood in some places. We've got a lot of foreign invaders
(like Emerald Ash Beetle, Gypsy Moth) and many areas have instituted
quarantines against moving wood in and/or out of them.

So while people may have their hearts in the right place, what may look
like an obvious solution can actually contribute to other environmental
problems. So check out the source of the timber and local restrictions
before transporting it any significant distance.

It's kind of a sad situation, but another consequence of our global trade.
