[TheForge] Coal, propane, or charcoal?

The method used to supply charcoal to the pig roaster 
at the local church is to have a barrel stove going a 
few feet away and shovel live coals into the roaster as 
needed. The occasional piece of green alder (local good 
smoking wood) makes for nice flavor.
