[TheForge] Coal, propane, or charcoal?

I've looked on the Web, but haven't found much. I'm going to be spit
roasting a lamb for a chef friend of mind at an event next weekend, so
I've asked him to check the restaurant supply places he'll be going
to.

Trouble is, stuff here in CT is just so bloody expensive, in all
categories. The few places I found on the Web that had good prices on
charcoal ate you up in shipping charges, and finding suitable scrap
wood for making my own charcoal isn't any cheaper. Likely will make
some, for a particular project I'm working on eventually, but in the
mean time, WalMart will sufice.

I've noticed that places that deal in these types of high end grills also sell high end real charcoal. So, maybe someplace like that would have them in larger bulk bags at a better price.

Heat it up
Hit it hard
Repent as necessary.

Priorities:

It's the smith who makes the tools, not the tools which make the smith.

.I never wanted to see anybody die, but there are a few obituary
notices I have read with pleasure. -Clarence Darrow
