Not sure about brass but to clean copper we use HTH brand PH minus from
Walmart.
Mix the powder with hot water and let soak in plastic bucket.

Did you anneal while making the bell
I bought a few shells and was thinking about doing some trench art with them
like I do copper pipe. Anyone have suggestions on annealing?

What is the quickest way to clean tarnish off a brass 90mm cannon shell? I
made a bell out of it and would like to shine it up, but Brasso hardly
touched it.
