As someone else has mentioned, Discover Card does offer cash rewards.
They actually remind you to take them from time to time.
Discover card is also the only card I know that lets you generate a
coded card number for use with a single merchant only over the
internet.  If you want to see this, visit
http://discovercard.com/customer-service/security/create-soan.html
You will need to create an account username and password.  After that,
 you don't even need your CC handy to generate a new number from any
web-linked computer.  Very handy.
