Big hot rivets! Cool!
I have a tool resembling a sledge hammer head that looks like an
ordinary hammer face on one end but has a cup about the size of one of
those rivet heads on the other, eye in the middle for a helve.
Original paint, never used. I've assumed that it was a rivet heading
tool for manual heading of hot rivets before hand-held air hammers
were commonplace.
BTW, Steve, I had to go and look at the other stuff on your web site
while I was there. I like your Greene & Greene-inspired pieces. I
might have to make myself a new anvil stand just to copy yours. :-)
