[TheForge] Safety -- Turning Things Off

A trick for remembering to turn off gas cylinders is to
make up a plastic cap or hood that fits over it. When
you turn it off put the cover on and just before you
turn out the lights, take a look around and make sure
all the covers are in place.
The same thing should work for other things that should
be turned off as well. You just have to develop the
habit of putting the cover on when you turn it off. And
THAT is of course the flaw in the plan. Still, it's
another layer of safety proceedure. A BIG sign on the
inside of the door as a reminder should help.
Checklists work too but the same problem applies,
remembering to use it. But, that's just another good
habit to develop.

Wrought iron is.
