Another place to look for ACME nuts and tread is ENCO.  In any case you may 
have to purchase both the nut and a replacement thread, other wise you may 
have major problems with a running fit.  Total cost, about the same as a new 
vise.  I have had good luck with ENCO's ACME items, and use them for shop 
made clamps and jigs.
