What did pay off was a Valentine's gift of a horseshoe heart for a man's
wife (given to him to give to her) but we have a long term business
relationship.
I agree; either get your price or give it away, or else everyone will want
the same deal.

Right. This is one of those cardinal sin deals. That's like giving
someone 50% off on the promise that they will bring you more work next
month. Next month never comes.
