It will probably *work* somewhat as-is for small heating jobs if it is a
small torch, but a propane tip would be better. Ask your local welding
supply folks; they probably have one in stock. A #2 for my big Smith was
only abt $12 a few years ago.

For what it's worth, every torch I've used just needed a propane tip to
work fine with propane (has a larger O2 orifice since propane takes more
oxy)
