All,

We have had very poor response in preregistration for the Joint meeting. In 
fact, we have had only 11 preregistrations. The officers of the Furnace 
Town Blacksmiths Guild decided to cancel the Joint meeting for this year. 
Otherwise, we could be incurring a large debt paying for the demonstrator 
and the caterers with no guarentee of enough income to balence that debt.

I appreciate you spreading the word on the meeting. We will look things 
over and, hopefully, decide to try again in 2009.
