It works well, but you want to preheat your refractory firebox to a good
yellow before burning drain oil. Trash diesel ( contaminated) is a good
starting fuel, and cheap.
My buddy Al was run out of Los Osos for starting a burn with drain oil
...during daylight..grin....pf
