Lee:
I see it as a little more complex than that. What the Nazis did -- and the
German people allowed -- covered a wide spectrum of abuse, the extreme end
of which we all know about. But it began with -- and until about 1942 was
predominantly -- intrusion into every aspect of private life,
disenfranchisement, dispossession, and internment. What this country has
allowed also runs over a spectrum, which doesn't go as far down the road,
but has a huge area of overlap with much of what happened in Nazi Germany.
But the essence of what they have in common is still at the heart of what
gos on here today: a power and money grab hiding behind a phoney,
manufactured threat fuel by fear and cowardice.

Why didn't we round up all the Germans and Italians.
By the
logic applied to the Jap. Americans, they should have
been. How did
that make us different from uncle Adolph in that
respect? Another
flying leap away from civilized living.
we unfairly stole japanese property and made them live
in squalor
uncle adolph put his citizens in ovens and dismembered
them
George Bush seeks to command a theocracy and bring
back the crusades.
