Geeze Roger. You bought a NEW hammer? Don't you already 
have more hammers than you can count?

Not that I discourage aquisition of tools and equipment 
of course.

What you say about the purpose of a piece of equipment 
is exactly right.

Also what's being said about coupling the dies to the 
anvil are right on the money. The more solidly they're 
attached the more the mass will work for you.

Saved up for a few years and bought a Say Mak from Tom 
Clark with the $ from
scrap.  This way it doesn't bother me to use the hammer 
to process more
scrap.
