I found a pamphlet from Sears, of all places, when cleaning out an old
file cabinet... has a diagram and instructions on how to set up a TIG
using a plain DC welder. If I can figure out how to post the pictures
(2), I will, or if anyone wants to see it I can email them directly.
The pamphlet must be at least 35 years old, maybe more, could not find a
date.
