	Turpentine is nothing more than a vehicle for the other components.  It 
thins the mix.

	Oh, another component I have used is carnauba wax to harden up the 
finish.  Linseed oil polymerizes into a plastic-like film. Beeswax 
remains as it is.  The addition of carnauba will cause the finish to be 
a bit harder.  You have to play with the ingredients to find a formula 
that suits your desires.  BTW, pure carnauba is like glass.  Hard and 
very brittle.  For some applications I would call it a very good finish 
by itself.
