Unusually hot -- mid- to high-80s -- and dry here for this time of

down into the central US.

ObSmithing: 

Painting the A&O hammer (green with red trim), increasing the
Cool-factor by an order of magnitude.  About to try using a cheap
"cycling computer" as a tach on the hammer crank 'cause the engine's
tach is flakey.
