To me the bottom looks like it is designed to fit into a hardy hole, could
it be some sort of bending jig, for making repetitive items, like maybe a
chandelier. I think that the hooks are to close together for hanging meat.

Rob, what do you make of the tapered bottom?  Would that be wedged into some

I using version 7. I got it to work now after I turned off the GhostSurf
program. It's a good program to block a lot of crap when surfing the web,
but sometimes it blocks too much. Anyway, looking at the pictures, I would
guess a Victorian style meat hanger from a butcher's shop cooler.
