[TheForge] OT- Request for Location information in TN

Hello again All!

 

I know this is off-topic but I figured I'd ask.

 

I'm looking at a possible job in Hendersonville, TN (Near Nashville) and I'm
looking for info about the area.

 

Anyone here from the vicinity, been to the area or know anything about the
place?

 

I can Google up a lot of info but what I'm looking for is
boots-on-the-ground knowledge.  Stuff like whats the culture of the area
like, are the people okay or do they have a 'thing' against outsiders, etc.

 

Its gotta be warmer than WI, with a longer growing season (makes for a much
better garden!)

 

Any info is appreciated!
