Harry,

They don't say what size the hammers are.  A 25# LG or Mayer Bros. weighs a bit over 900 lbs. without the motor.  So, it should be no problem putting one in the back of your truck.  You might want a trailer for a 50 lb. or bigger hammer.  (I don't have those weights in front of me just now.)

Hi all,

    I have a heads up for a sale in Omaha, Neb. coming up on the 22nd.
It is for IRONCRAFT OF OMAHA  -  BOB CALDWELL, OWNER. Retirement and
selling out all equipment and stock. This includes two trip hammers.
Mayer Bros. Pedestal Industrial Trip Hammer on Stand. Antique Little
Giant Pedestal-type Industrial Trip Hammer on Stand. I may be tempted to
make the trip to see them and possibly bid them up a bit.

    I was also hoping someone could give me a ball park range on what
these trip hammers might weigh? Is a 3/4 ton pick up sufficient or do I
need something bigger?
