Put a straight edge across the wheels when the blade is under
tension..they should be lined up for both offset and tilt.
You can correct the line-up with washer shims on the top wheel or the
set screw on the bottom. The tension adjustment assembly on the top
wheel usually has a tilt adjustment. If necessary you can fake a tilt
adjustment on the bottom wheel with shims under the gear box.
Make sure the bottom pulley is tight to the shaft.
If it's all lined up and still spits the blade, watch to see which
pulley looses it first and in which direction..tilt that wheel
accordingly...
Check that the blade guide bearings are good and well adjusted. watch
for gurry buildup on the tires.
I have about a million miles in mine and it presently sports parts of 3
different saws .pf
