I have had very luck with galvanized culvert.  Mine is a 15 or 16 inch and 
draws very well.  In fact I use it for both the forge and large woodstove. 
You can of course get bigger sizes -- mine cost about $160, 7 years ago.

I used the full 20 foot length, and I think that is as long as they come.  I 
have a fabricated "smoke box" at ceiling level that adds about 2 feet.  You 
might consider something like that, or a joint above the roof.  Hardest part 
about using the culvert is sealing a roof jack to the spiral of the culvert. 
I did this with sheet metal  cut out to the shape of the culvert and 
soldiered in place.  Works fine, but you need a special flux for the 
galvanized metal.  Any good sheet metal shop has this flux.
