Dave  I just had to comment.

This is the same demographic. that has tailgaters leaving easily 
transportable items in full view , sometimes unattended?
Members imply they have already, paid to belong. So they cannot be THAT 
tight.
They probably have traveled a bit to get there.

So lets see, out of a pretty honest group, someone pays for membership 
and travels a few hundred miles to risk getting spotted and embarrassed 
in front of friends and acquaintances in a more or less tight knit 
community.
HMM?

Sounds like a major risk to me.
Nice cheap , but identifiable, name tags for paid admission ought to 
just about cover that one.
