[TheForge] OT - BTUs needed for heat house

In Milwaukee, depending on the structure (windows, insulation, exposure)
outputs of 55MBTUH-38000MBTUH should just about cover it.
Standards I use would maintain 68 at-20 at night.
Keep in mind that most of the time you do not need anywhere near the
maximum output.. My boilers have a total output of 85MBTUH(down from the
350MBTUH that was here when I moved in. With total radiation of 90MBTUH
at 140* water) I also installed zoning. Most of the time the 25MBTUH
boiler handles the load.
I only need the other boiler on and off starting about 20* , At about
-15 or so both boilers run most of the time.
If you can afford it two furnaces one about 25 to 33 percent of the load
and another for the remainder works well, and economically. It also
reduces the chance of every being truly without heat.
