Have you considered using a phase converter?  I know a fellow here who 
refurbishes and sells machine tools, all 3 phase, and he does not have 3 
phase service.  He uses phase converters.  They do reduce the hp of the 
target motor.  Might or might not be something to think about.  3 phase 
is nice to have, I have it in my shop (230 volt).

A question... does this hammer use high pressure high volume or low 
pressure high volume?  Sort of a dumb question, I guess.  Tom Clark's 
Turkish hammer uses low pressure high volume.  Just curious.
