Mark is on the right track. When I had some issues with my bullhammer transmitting too much into the ground Tom suggested I get some 3 inch plate. One or two pieces the size of the hammers footprint set into the ground bolted or welded to the hammer. Mass directly under the hammer. Mike Graf
