if the gallon has been sealed it is probably still good.
if it has dried out just crush up the dried material and
mix in water till you have close to the same viscosity as
before.
i have had small amount dry out over the years and i pulverize
the dried material in an old coffee bean grinder i picked up
at the local salvation army thrift store. then i just add water
and mix till it is brushable. i have never had a problem doing
this.
