Thanks, Lon.  Anyone else have any input on the Lincoln vs. Miller choice for a MIG 140?

ive had less trouble with the feeding of wire with the millers stanless,
carbon steel dosent seem to matter it eats both well...

and for me thats a biggie  really pisses ya off when you have to stop to
screw with the liner or feed rolls

i used a lincoln that just would not feed stainless had a sales rep in to
look at it and he said that the gun had been bent .......he left the shop
quickly

just my experiance........ lincoln freed the slaves but he didnt build
welders

Okay, Lon, I'm listening.  I'm in a position to buy either a Lincoln MIG
140C or a Millermatic 140.  Tell me why you like Lincolns better than
Millers.  Give me some data I can use to help me make the choice.

i would not be afraid to try this with 250 amp mig welder even a junk
lincoln one ...IMHO i like miller but i know guys that hate millers and  the
only hobart welder ive ever used is a portable stick welder and its too
small

just bevel your edges make sure its clean and go like hell
