[TheForge] Branding Irons? source of infection

If it is placed into a flame to heat and gets hot enough to sear flesh then the
instrument is sterile. In Mircobiology class we use a bunson burner to heat
wire loops that we then use to innoculate the auger plates.

The infection is due to the break in the skin not the branding iron. Just make
sure that ya got yer tetanus up to date (All burns get a tetanus update).
