Hi Jerry;
When we bought our property, I bought a thrashed ford 4200 front 
loader. And while i've done things with it it was never designed 
to do and moved a lot of clay and steel with it....I also spent 
an insane amount of time working on it...and too many $ in parts 
to recommend going that route.
I thought, i can figure out how to fix that...and i could, but...pf
