All good ideas. I just put my water bucket below the
bottom of the grinder to catch the grinding dust. In
my bucket I put a small squirt of dish soap (it keeps
the dust off the top of the water) and a little
sprinkle of baking soda. The soda will retard the
immediate rust but too much will make your hands feel
like you use too much bag balm, really soft!
Although it's not there right now, I usually have a
shield behind the grinder bottom wheel. It knocks a
lot of the dust into the bucket. It really takes a lot
of the airborne dust into the bucket.
One other thing. I have a fan set to blow across the
front of the grinder. Mostly to keep the sweat down
here in South Florida.
OK, so I should wear a filter mask. I would but it's
really hard to light a cigarette while wearing one of
those things! I really am an old fart with little
health habits so don't listen to a thing I say.
