>>I am not sure who YOU are-
s'OK, I have days I'm not too sure either.
>>"typical board member"-
I said "typical ABANA board response" which is not an ad hominum
attack on any board member, meerly a comment on the sort of public
communication I have seen. I'm sure that the board members are fine
people, salt of the earth, workin' stiffs just like the rest of us, all
of which has nothing to do with my comment above. You are the one who
brought up a "Typical Board Member" .
>>a series of decisions was made,
Yeah yeah, heard it before. The passive voice - "mistakes were made" not
by anybody who cares to take responsibility, mind you, and nobody could
do anything about it, mistakes sort of . . made themselves somehow.
Not our fault. Nobody's fault really. But definiatly not our fault - we
were out of town at the time, visiting a sick uncle. Won't somebody
please think of The Children?
>>But its done- it happened, and now we have to move on
Without explaining or understanding what happened, let's just continue
doing the same thing and hope the outcome is different.
>>I gotta admit, I get tired of this conspiracy theory thinking. None
of them are millionaires. Nobody has evil intentions to take over the
world. None of em are snooty college professors who sneer at guys in
overalls. Every one of em gets their hands dirty.
No conspiracy implied, but it would be nice if somebody would step up
and say what happened and, I don't know, consult the membership in some
sort of binding way? Something more responsive than - we took a poll,
the results of which we have not chosen to reveal. Again, I'm sure the
board members are good people, but something happened here and nobody
seems to want to say, in any detail, just what.
