Ok, I just bought a Victor Super Range II outfit and was planning on
oxy/acetylene for cutting and heating....no welding. Never owned a torch
before and after this discussion and reading various other threads about
acetylene versus propane, I'm kinda leaning toward using propane. I keep
reading conflicting information about what components in my torch outfit
are compatible with propane. This is what is in the outfit:
# CSR350 Oxygen regulator with CGA 540 connection
# CSR360 Acetylene regulator with CGA 510 connection
# 100FC torch handle
# CA1350 cutting attachment
0-3-101 Cutting Tip #0
2-W-1 Welding nozzle #2
6-MFA-1 Rosebud FREE #6
Grade T dual hose 1/4"
What in my outfit will work with propane and what will need to be swapped?
Thanks,
Walker
