Toni:
Find a local truck repair shop and ask for a brake
drum. I have yet to find a shop that won't let me pick
through the drops, dumpster, etc. especially if I tell
them what I'm doing. Don't limit yourself to truck
shops either, try a spring shop, machine shop, fab
shop, etc. for all kinds of useful materials. You may
want to make the foreman something as a gift or bring
the guys in the shop a box of donuts in the morning for
PR. A little PR goes a long way. <grin>

If it ain't forged
it ain't real.
Wrought iron is.
