Well three Ideas come to mind.
1. A fold up ramp that fits inside the side or back door of the van. Raise and
lower with electric winch. ramp would fold in center and pivot on arms from
inside van.

2. A swiveling extending boom arm that mounts inside the van and uses a
electronic winch cable to pick up chair. and pivot inside of van.

3. Frame mounted hydrolic lift. We used this option on 2 ambulances. To load and
unload isolettes. To use it you pulled a cable release on the back bumper and
slid out the frame of the ramp. then the ramp was unfolded and lowered by
electronic pump to the ground. the isolette was loaded on the ramp and raised
to the level of the ambulance the isolette was then pushed into the ambulance
and the ramp was brought down to the level of the bumper, folded into the frame
and slid into the bumper and where a catch secured the ramp frame from moving.
It worked ok. but a PITA when icy or when you had to hand pump it.
