Made a wood burner for a friend using a 275 oil tank. Cut about 20" off of
it length wise to shorten it and cut holes and welded pipes in cross wise.
Installed it in a closed porch and put a fan in the window going to the
porch. Heated the whole house for several years (He was in the tree removal
business, lots of free wood to get rid of). Used to burn the wood to white
ash by the time it burned out, worked great.
