Very consistent, as far as I can see.

But this is due to some flaw in the steel. I fyou examine the surface
of the break, you will probably find a fine, or at least very
directionally regular character, whereas with wrought iron the break
reveals a coarse structure that is clearly aligned in a specific
direction. along the axis or rolling or other deformation. In my
experience there is really no mistaking the one for the other. It may
be if you refine wrought enough, this quality may become unapparent, but
I don't think I've ever rewelded wrought that many times, I suppose I
could try
