It's one of the many details of behind the scenes that one doesn't
realize until one becomes part of the machine. OR,,,,,, ask some
questions like 'how is a site chosen?'
Someone like a rep from an Affiliate makes a proposal at the ABANA
board meeting to host a conference. If several affiliates make a bid,
then we have to investigate the merits of each. In the case of 2008,
only the NEB made a proposal and a GREAT proposal it was. They had put
together a very nice package.
