There seems to be a consistent drum beat here for smaller more absorb 
able events.
I was at LaCrosse enjoyed it thoroughly. Food with shelter on site and 
lots of demos was impressive. I have to admit perhaps too impressive. 
After the first half day of locating everything, the next ten hours or 
so was just fine. After that my eyes glazed over. It was worth the 
money, as a first time attendee. I probably would not find it so the 
second time around.

One thing that the discussion so far is pointing out is that perhaps the 
role should shift from originate to facilitate.
