Pete, I strongly agree that dvd's of the conference would be a fine
thing. I think they would have to come out of a budget (or even be paid
for extra) other than our dues. I'm sure that what we already get from
abana--Anvil's Ring and Hammer's Blow--chew up an awfully large
percentage of our dues.
I'm of two minds about longer conferences. I get pretty saturated after
a few days at one of those.

I couldn't agree more (but I might go for a motel/dorm).
How about some discussion forums? This would be a small step more formal
than the ones with beer...
