Justin,

I have always shied away from those older anvils,
sometimes they are good, sometimes they are worn out. 

A few years back I bought my anvil from Forge and
Anvil in St. Jacobs, Ont. It was a newly made anvil
from Europe. I has worked for me very well.

Have you thought about going to CanIron or joining a
local group?
