I moved my wife and (then) infant son into a RV in the Pasture while I built a
Pole Barn/House/shop. We lived in it for a bit over 5 years. My answer to the
grime and coal dust was to erect another building for the forges. I built the
second one out of a barn that I tore down so it was all recycled. Anyway that
is what worked for me your mileage may vary.
