Terry,  The aluminum from the chair tubing is most likely either 1100 alloy 
(pure aluminum) or 3003.  Both widely used in food service.  Household foil 
is 1100 and most cookware is 3003 or similar alloy.   No high strength 
copper and zinc alloys would be used for a chair, expense would be too high, 
these being aerospace alloys.  Chair tubing is a "low cost alloy" hence a 
simple alloy.  Al cans are made from 3004 for the body and 5182 for the 
ends.
